Time for face masks

April 29. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends wearing face masks in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. This can include grocery stores and pharmacies, as well as places where community spread of COVID-19 is happening.

In fact, if you walk through Publix without a face mask, you’ll look like the odd human out and about during a pandemic. Which this is.

Surgical masks and N-95 respirators are still critically needed for healthcare workers. To help conserve our supplies, consider other face coverings, such as cloth masks.

Washing your hands is still one of the simplest, most effective ways to slow the spread and protect yourself and others.

What a load of crap. I’ve been to the store twice a week with no mask since the mess began. Approx 2% of the other shoppers wore masks. I social distance. It’s easy. And, oh, Publix is one of the stores I frequent and the numbers are the same.
Also, the entire idea is not enforceable. Wake up!!!
