May 10. [Updated] Cornelius Police have arrested 24-year-old Caden Asher Ellis after a road rage incident Wednesday near Westmoreland and West Catawba.

Ellis was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, discharging a firearm within city limits, carrying a concealed weapon and damage to personal property. Police said after firing a shot, Ellis left the scene.
He is being held in Mecklenburg County Jail.
[6 pm update] The other driver was unhurt.
[8 pm update] The incident happened about 8 am.
Thank you to all our representatives who have made it so much easier for anyone to have a gun. No license, no permit, nothing but money.
That should be a five year prison sentence
