June 16. Cornelius Police issued this press release a day after a raid on a doublewide across Norman Island Drive from Community in Christ Lutheran Church:
After conducting a Narcotics Investigation for several weeks due to multiple citizen complaints, as well as a rise in overdose cases involving several neighboring jurisdictions, detectives with the Cornelius Police Department Crime Reduction Unit, along with the North Mecklenburg SWAT team executed a search warrant on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at approximately 7 a.m., at the residence …. Subsequently, Detectives seized 988 yellow and blue Fentanyl pills, 17 grams of Methamphetamine, and 2 grams of Psychedelic Mushrooms.

Tina Marie Alexander was charged with Felony Level III Trafficking in Opium, Felony Conspire in Trafficking in Opium, Felony Possession with Intent to Distribute (PWISD) Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Schedule I, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling for controlled Substance, Felony Possession of Synthetic Cannabinoid, and Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Matthew Christian Dominguez was charged with Felony Level I Trafficking in Opium, Felony Conspire in Trafficking in Opium, Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II, and Misdemeanor Drug Paraphernalia.

Both individuals were arrested on scene and transported without incident to the Mecklenburg County Jail. Tina Marie Alexander was issued a $1,000,000 secured bond and Matthew Christian Dominguez was issued a $100,000 secured bond.

Neighbors said the rental property has been “a problem for the neighborhood for years.”
Lets just hope nobody had to bury a child because of these people!

Well, the article did say due to several overdoses in the surrounding areas- so I hope if it was them they are able to link them back to them and they get charged with murder.
There is a lot more to this story. Many others that should have been arrested. Someone buried a child last year that I’m quite sure was supplied by this group.
One thing that I can say is that there may be others to follow. Because there are a ton of teenagers going through detox/rehab directly linked to this dealer operation.

I did a lighting job next door to the church at the beautiful ranch house across the street from that trailer one year ago, I can’t believe it took this long to knock down the door of that trailer it was evident every day that I worked across the street that it was a drug store.
Great ! Now, lets get to work on the reckless and aggressive driving, tailgating, passing on a double yellow line happening on West Catawba. I expect to see Cornelius Finest out in full force between each intersection where this behavior is actually occurring. Don`t let me down!
