Why is Sisson alowed to run for office? Wasn’t she and her husband involved in the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol?
Commissioner Tricia Sisson did not attend the Jan. 6 rally in Washington, DC
It was not a rally. It was an insurrection where five people died and 500+ people were arrested . Stop lying about what happen on January 6 . Just because you keep repeating something untrue doesn’t make it true.
I found a Cornelius Today article that states Tricia Sisson was not in DC or involved in the insurrection. Her husband’s comments regarding the insurrection on January 6th were disturbing, to say the least.
Regardless, Tricia Sisson did not take part, so we need to be clear on that. I believe her votes for continued, unchecked residential development are what we need to hold her, and other commissioners, accountable for.
