Great news and wonderful to see so many people voting in this election!
Already a problem with voting machines in Kannapolis, NC. And so it starts. Vote closer to election day or on election day. Early voting ends 11/2/24 we think
WBTV confirmed one machine at the downtown Kannapolis train station did go down for a few hours, but the county had a plan for these types of occurrences and poll workers carried it out. WBTV said the ballots were secured in a locked box where they were placed by the voters until the machine could be repaired and a team of poll workers from both major political parties put the ballots back through the counting machine.
Their source was Carol Soles, Director of the Cabarrus County Board of Elections.
