Country music star Rockie Lynn will perform at Veterans Day observance

Nov. 7. American Legion Post 86 will host a Veterans Day program at 11 am this Saturday at the Cornelius Veterans Monument at Rotary Plaza, located behind Cornelius Town Hall.
Post 86 Commander Randy Wally will lead a ceremony that includes an address by Gen. Carlton W. Fulford, Jr., USMC (Ret.). There will be patriotic songs by the Hough High School Concert Choir, as well as a special performance by country music artist and Army veteran, Rockie Lynne.
Chairs will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Light refreshments will be served after the event, around noon.
