March 12. As part of the nationwide Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA), the department invites members of the public to offer comments through an online public portal.
The comments can be in the form of commendations or concerns. The overall intent, according to a CPD press release, is to provide the participating agency with information to support continuous improvement and foster the pursuit of professional excellence.
