Having read the plans for Birkdale ie: 150 room hotel, more homes and office space, along with consierge service, it sounds like Birkdale is becoming a resort area. Forget shopping. There’s no place to park except way the heck away from where you want or need to be. Not a problem. Use the valet for $12. Therefore, forget a quick lunch or a quick run to pick up a gift or something. Already, if I think I need something, the last place I want to go is Birkdale. It’s already too inconvenient, plus the traffic on 73.
I know everyone is so sad to hear this. Corkscrew and Ninas are two of the places that really bring in people to birkdale.
In a recent article it was stated the Birkdale will be “life style center” and it will be a “controlled experience” yet one of the new restaurants menu items is tater tots. 😆 🤣
