Feb. 19. Union Bethel AME Zion Church is organizing a free Mobile Food Pantry at Smithville Park on Feb. 23 from 3 pm to 5 pm. The church is asking participants sign up beforehand to help ensure health and safety precautions. Responses will not disqualify anyone from participating. The mobile pantry is a partnership with
the Town of Cornelius, Hunters Chapel, Reeder Memorial Baptist Church, Ausie & Martin Rivens Scholarship Foundation and Union Bethel.
