Aug. 10. Is your mind on Christmas yet? Well, the Towns of Davidson and Cornelius plan to hold the 39th Annual North Mecklenburg Holiday Parade on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 1 pm.

As of right now, it’s a real parade, not virtual like last year’s.

Registration will open Friday, Aug. 13, with registration limited to the first 100 entrants.

The parade starts in Davidson at the intersection of Griffith Street and Highway 115 and ends in Cornelius at the intersection of Highway 115 and Catawba Avenue.

The Parade Committee will continue to monitor CDC, North Carolina and Mecklenburg County COVID guidelines and will make appropriate modifications as needed, up to and including cancellation of the parade if necessary. Last year, a Zoom parade was arranged.
