Groups recognized for community service

May 23. Three local organizations have been recognized by the Centralina Regional Council for their contributions to the community and surrounding areas.

They are:

— Lake Norman Economic Development Corporation for  Cross-Community Collaboration.

— Neighborhood C.A.R.E. Center for  Improving Quality of Life

— Senior Community Connections for  Aging In Action.
