Aug. 2. Updated at 3:20 pm. Jetton Road between West Catawba and Old Jetton was briefly closed at about 2:30 pm because of a fire at Pho NC in Peninsula Village. The fire was quickly under control, with Cornelius Lemley firefighters from both stations inside and up on the roof of the one-story building. The Waterbean coffee shop was closed as  well. No injuries were reported. The County Fire Marshall was on scene.

Update: Jetton Road, Waterbean reopened.
