Choplin’s will expand into downtown Huntersville

The Choplins outside the Guest House in Huntersville
Sept. 23. By Donna Randazzo. Choplin’s Seafood and Steak restaurant will open a second location, Choplin’s Guest House, in a refurbished home in downtown Huntersville next year.
Owners Wes Choplin and Faith Amiga-Choplin plan a full-scale restaurant with the ability to host weddings and special events. A garage will be turned into a bar.
The Choplins have made a major success out of their original location in a shopping center at 19700 One Norman Blvd. in Cornelius.
The square footage is about 4,000, with an additional 5,000 square foot patio.

The yellow Victorian style house is in the Walk23 mixed-use development located at 206 Gilead Road, approximately halfway between Statesville Road and Old Statesville Road.
Walk23 includes 29 townhomes under construction, as well as 12,000 square feet of retail and office space.
Foundry Commercial, the developer, says the first townhomes will be available this fall.

Excellent restaurant!
I am sure they will do very well.
Glad to see it. Huntersville needs more fine dining options. There are a lot of us here that have to go off to CLT, Cornelius, Davidson, and Mooresville for a good experience. Huntersville has the chance to make itself whatever it wants to be – with less time getting there.
Congratulations! We can’t wait to come!
Exciting news for Huntersville! Choplin’s expansion into a beautifully refurbished home sounds like a fantastic addition to the community. The combination of seafood, steak, and a venue for special events will surely attract many locals and visitors. Looking forward to seeing this charming spot come to life!
