BILODEAU

July 22. The Rotary Club of North Mecklenburg has announced the winner of the inaugural Robert T. Cashion Community Service Award: Denis Bilodeau, a North Meck Rotarian since 2006. He is the president of Aquesta Insurance Services and a candidate for the Cornelius  Town Board.

Bilodeau was president of the club in 2010-2011. In addition to being service chairperson, he is a member of the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce board, as well as a Cornelius Parks, Arts, Recreation and Culture commissioner. He is also is a long-time supporter of Big Day at the Lake.

The award is named for the late Robert T. Cashion, the retailing entrepreneur who was also a charter member and past president of the Rotary Club of North Mecklenburg.
