Donald Albert Midgett, 71, of Huntersville, NC passed away August 15, 2016 at Novant Health, Huntersville.
Donald was born June 18, 1945 to the late Edward and Marie Waish Midgett in Richmond County, NY.
He worked for the Motorola Electronics Company for many years and in his spare time he enjoyed many sports, including, scuba diving, fishing, archery, shooting guns, bowling and darts.
Donald loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving family; wife, Linda Hoffer Manning; sons, Michael Midgett of West Palm Beach, FL, Mark Midgett and his wife Amanda of Memphis, TN; daughters, Renae Matthews and her husband Andrew of Cornelius, NC, Dawn Rasmussen and her husband Raz of Iron Station, NC; 15 grandchildren; and brother, Robert Midgett of West Palm Beach, FL.
Services will be held at a later date.
