Need to be left alone by authorities if not observing anything ( enough of the so called safety check) your police are too aggressive with boaters under the guise of being safety conscious
Boating on lake Norman has become so dangerous that we do not go out on the weekends anymore. Too many rentals and weekend warriors that doesn’t regard rules and regulations.
No Wake Zones at KingsPointe has no effect on boaters idling thru. I have seen innertubes, wakeboarding and skying thru the no wake zone???
I’m all for more lake patrols and wildlife officers checking safety regulations.
If you’re crying about too many authorities, you are more than likely doing something illegal.
I’m all for enforcing those rules you mentioned, Travis. Would absolutely endorse police and Wildlife officers stopping folks doing illegal/dangerous things to perform safety checks and issue warnings. But I agree with TC that random stops of boats not doing anything illegal or dangerous doesn’t seem address the problems you mentioned.
