We will be out of town on 7/30. One suggestion I would make is, can the tests of the alert system also be accompanied by an alert on phones? We knew the test was planned. My husband happened to be outside, and heard the siren. I wear hearing aids and was inside. I did not hear the siren. Only by asking my husband did I know that the planned test did occur, and I didn’t hear it.
There is a fairly large population of elderly in the area. Consider sending an alert that can be accompanied by “this is only a test”. Thanks for conveying this to Pres. Pagott.
