Hunter Holt Newsome of Cornelius has graduated from Marine Corp Recruit Depot, Parris Island on Dec. 6 with the rank of Private First Class, United States Marine. The 2019 graduate of Hough High School is the son of Terri Pruitt of Cornelius and Stephen Newsome of Davidson.
