Kids fundraise for Cornelius Animal Shelter

Last Updated: August 18, 2017By Tags: ,

Aug. 18. It looks like the Cornelius Animal Shelter is known far and wide among young animal advocates. Four Lake Norman kids, ages 3-6, helped raise $150 for CAS by selling lemonade and muffins on Faith Road in Mooreseville. Target in Huntersville chipped in $150 as well and the kids embarked on a pet care shopping spree before. Nanny Allie Redder sent the information to Cornelius Today, saying, “I felt it was amazing they wanted to raise money for someone/something other than themselves…and followed through!” Allie has a direct connection  to the animal shelter on Meridian Street: Her dog Moose is an alumni.
